Children are naturally curious and interested in the world around them. Science in school enables children to find out about their world, understand how things work and to realise cause and effect. Children are taught through practical activities the scientific skills of observing, predicting, classifying, experimenting and communicating their findings. Their natural curiosity is stimulated with hands-on exploration increasing their ability to carry out investigative, independent and collaborative tasks. We make much use of our school grounds, and our immediate local environment.
